My (geared) mountain bike.  This is the first bike I built that every piece was chosen
individually.  "No extra parts" is how I wanted it.

Frame is a
Lenz Leviathan 29er---very efficient full-suspension and it feels plush without
feeling sluggish.  It is also light...the whole bike coomes in a shade under 26 lbs.

SRAM X.O shifters and rear derailleur, cassette---these are light, bomb-proof, and always work
flawlessly.

FSA carbon cranks---I wanted every piece to be candy.

Hayes hydraulic disc brakes, with the sexy carbon levers.

Rear shock is a
DT Swiss SSD 210L air shock---perfect spring rate, can take a ton of abuse,
and has a simple, effective, easy-to-reach lock-out.

Front shock is a
White Brothers BW.8 ---this is also bomb-proof, light, very laterally stiff, and
has a great lock-out as well.

Handlebars are size medium
Syntace VROs---it has an adjustable stem length from 85-135mm
and they are the strongest and stiffest bar/stem I have ever encountered.  They are so
responsive, the front end of your bike feels laser-guided.

And finally the wheels.  They are (you guessed it)
Zipp 404 rims laced to DT swiss/Hugi 240
disc hubs.  The DT Swiss hubs are completely invisible and if you have ever had wheel trouble,
you know that this is a very good thing.   They are also the easiest to maintain hubs I have
ever seen.  The Zipp rims are so strong and laterally rigid, that they give new meaning to the
phrase "carving tight single-track".  Believe it or not these rims are durable enough to be an
"everyday" wheelset.
